Have you ever been asked, “How good is your college?” It’s a seemingly simple question at the heart of so many inquiries about our institutions. Prospective students, their parents, legislators, donors, the media, and especially accrediting bodies, all want to know. Accredited institutions are expected demonstrate achievement of institutional mission, and to do this, institutions need good evidence that the claims made in their mission statements are true.
In this webinar, Piedmont Virginia Community College shares the process it used to identify mission-specific indicators of institutional effectiveness, assess achievement of the college’s mission using the indicators, and incorporate evidence of achievement into a performance dashboard that provided the foundation for an effective Compliance Certification response to SACS Core Requirement 2.5 (Institutional Effectiveness).
This webinar is open to both WEAVEonline members and nonmembers.
