A Glimpse into Institutional Effectiveness

Institutional effectiveness, assessment, and continuous improvement are terms we often hear on college and university campuses. As higher education professionals, we are expected not only to understand these concepts, but to provide documentation of how we achieve them. Oftentimes, this is easier said than done. Difficulties may stem from a lack of understanding or perhaps from unreliable systems and/or processes for doing so. In this session, the presenter will share three strategies used by a single institution to create a holistic approach to institutional effectiveness. Each of the strategies can easily be adapted to meet the unique needs of other colleges and universities
